Dr. Zhang Zhi, A Central Figure of Modern Chinese Poetry
The magazine’s Editor-in-Chief, Dr. Zhang Zhi, is one of the most distinguished figures in contemporary Chinese literature.
Born in 1965 in Phoenix Town, Baxian County, Sichuan Province, he is known as a poet, critic, translator, and publisher. Under his literary pseudonym Diablo and international name Arthur Zhang, he has earned an admired reputation in the global literary landscape.

Since the beginning of his career in 1986, Zhang Zhi has built an extensive creative opus, translated into more than fifty foreign languages. He has published seven poetry collections, eight translations, and one novel. His works have earned numerous international awards in countries such as Greece, Brazil, the United States, Israel, France, India, Italy, Austria, Lebanon, North Macedonia, Kosovo, Russia, Serbia, Morocco, Montenegro, and Japan — reflecting his broad cultural presence and poetic influence that transcends national borders.
Mujë Buçpapaj — A Powerful Voice of Albanian Poetry in the World
Dr. Mujë Buçpapaj represents one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary Albanian poetry, with a body of work that intertwines meditative depth, emotional intensity, and the aesthetic consciousness of the Albanian language. His poems have been translated into around thirty foreign languages and have received high critical praise in Europe, the Balkans, North America, Asia, and Africa.
In addition to his poetic work, Buçpapaj has made a significant contribution to Albanian cultural life as the publisher of the literary and cultural newspaper Nacional, director of Nacional Publishing House, and director of the Institute of Albanological Studies “Nacional” in Tirana.
In a statement to Nacional, the poet expressed his deep gratitude and respect to Dr. Zhang Zhi for including and honoring him in this prestigious publication, as well as to the magazine Rendition of International Poetry Quarterly. In a letter to the editor-in-chief, Buçpapaj wrote:
