THE 15TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE NATIONAL LITERARY AND CULTURAL NEWSPAPER IS CELEBRATED IN PRISTINA
The League of Writers of Kosovo marked on Wednesday, November 6, the 15th anniversary of the publication of the literary and cultural newspaper “Nacional”, which is published in Tirana, while it is also distributed in Kosovo and almost throughout the Albanian space.
Hundreds of writers, poets, researchers, university professors and academics from Kosovo, Albania, Macedonia, Montenegro and the Diaspora participated in this event, which was held in the central hall of the Albanian Institute of Pristina.
About the achievements and importance of the national newspaper Nacional and various issues related to it, Prof. dr. Shyqri Galica, president of LSHK and organizer of the meeting.
Prof. dr. Shyqri Galica, among other things, emphasized that our literary and cultural newspaper “Nacional” is celebrating fifteen years of its publication, through the pages of which they presented their literary, artistic, cultural, historical, political and other values, a verse very long of creators from different fields, provoking readers with special literary and artistic values.
For years, the only newspaper of this nature in the entire Albanian space has managed to reveal the most diverse issues and problems, from literary and cultural ones to current political ones, of course, not being apolitical in its content.

Prof. Shyqri Galica went on to say that “The editor and founder of the weekly newspaper “Nacional”, the most famous international poet, literature researcher and university professor, dr. Mujo Buçpapaj, in a dignified manner during all this time, has prepared every issue of the newspaper with responsibility and undoubtedly with special love.
A newspaper like this is not only expensive, but it is also not easy to get it out to the readers, having responsibility especially for the selection and provision of materials, as well as the high level of works, which is not always so easy for them. cope with a variety of material and a specific selection for it.
The Association of Writers of Kosovo and its membership are connected with almost every edition of the “Nacional” newspaper, so it has the privilege to organize its inauguration on this important anniversary, believing that its publication has brought us extremely close in many aspects to come together not only spiritually, but also physically, which is the goal of every Albanian.
Today it is a pleasure and an honor that we have among us the founder of the “Nacional” magazine, its director, dr. Muje Buçpapaj, who with such dedication and professionalism does a great job with his team to advance literary creativity and to address issues and problems of our social and national life, emphasized, among other things, prof. Buçpapaj said that “In a time unsuitable for the written press, the literary and cultural newspaper “Nacional” has managed to stay in the Albanian and regional market for 15 years thanks to a clear and comprehensive editorial policy, as well as the idealism of its staff. . Continuing in modern times, a tradition of the national press of culture, Albanian literature, culture and the Albanian issue have been for the central editorial office in Tirana and the regional ones, not only an obligation, but also an inspiration in our work as professionals in the field.
Founded 15 years ago by a group of prominent writers, artists, researchers, translators and albanologists in the country and abroad, the weekly newspaper “Nacional” has modestly entered the history of the Albanian press in general and the cultural press in particular, with her individuality, with her hopes and feelings for our nation, for cultural heritage, national unity and the future.
Gazeta Nacional, said Mujë Buçpapaj, fights for the strengthening of the Albanian factor in the Balkans, the strengthening of our national identity, seeing Albanian literature as a unique national unit, as we are truly one nation, one language, one culture and one literature. .
Dr. Muje Buçpapaj, thanked the many people present in the hall, as well as all the collaborators of the “Nacional” newspaper in Kosovo, Albania, Macedonia, Montenegro, the Preshevea Valley, in Europe and the USA, journalists, writers, translators, outstanding researchers and albanologists in the region and in the world, artists, scientists, scientific researchers, etc., who have collaborated with “Nacional” for free, with idealism and the patriot, with love for the Albanian word, its language and literature.
Mujë Buçpapaj specially thanked the readers of the National literary newspaper in the region and in the world, considering them as part of the editorial office since its foundation and continuing, as well as regional editorial offices in major cities in the USA and Europe and collaborators in several Albanian universities and research centers and the foreigner. He thanked the editor-in-chief of Nacional for Kosovo, journalist and translator Gani Tërshnjaku.

POETS, WRITERS, STUDENTS, ACADEMICS AND UNIVERSITY PROFESSORS THANKED THE “NACIONAL” NEWSPAPER
The speakers who took the floor, poets, writers, researchers, academics and university professors, thanked the National newspaper, its publishing staff, the Buçpapaj family for its role for the freedom and independence of Kosovo as well as national unity.
They emphasized that the weekly, literary and cultural newspaper Nacional is an influential media in the Albanian space and in the world, it is an institution that keeps Albanian national feelings alive, with the motto “Independence, democracy and national unity, in eternal friendship with the United States of America”.
The well-known writer Jusuf Buxhovi said that the national newspaper Nacional for 15 years in a row spiritually united not only writers and artists, but all Albanians. Buxhovi praised the editorial policies of the newspaper and its publisher Muje Buçpapaj for the vision and policies open to all literary trends, including the literary and cultural elites. He rated Nacional as the best Albanian newspaper of all time, listing several reasons.
The writer and researcher of literature prof. dr. Prend Buzhala said this manifestation for the National newspaper constitutes a cultural event for our national life. He appreciated the work of the newspaper for maintaining an independent editorial line with strong national interest. Nacional is an elite tribune of our weekly meeting regardless of where we live in the regions or in the world, he said, appreciating the newspaper’s streams and high literary values in a difficult time for the literary press.
Prof. dr. Avni Presheva thanks the publisher Mujë Bucpapaj and his persistence as a publisher, intellectual and patriot to give Albanians an open media for all those who love the Albanian word and national unity. The case of Nacional is rare and the only one in the history of the Albanian press, he said, that unites Albanian intellectuals and writers and artists around the national issue regardless of their political beliefs.
Prof. Dr. Milazim Krasniqi, a well-known poet and pedagogue, said that this newspaper has played an important role in our cultural exchange and in bringing Albanian nationalism closer by opposing the Serbo-Greek socialization, as rarely does the media in Albanian areas with strong scientific competence and arguments. He thanked the publisher M. Bucpapaj for his long and uninterrupted dedication in 34 years to Kosovo, its freedom and independence together with the Bucpapaj family.
The well-known writer and publisher Nazmi Rrahmani said that he has been following Nacional for 15 years and highly appreciates the newspaper and its publisher M. Bucpapaj as a poet, researcher and intellectual. Rrahmani said that this newspaper is keeping the ideology of national unity alive by uniting around itself all Albanians who believe in freedom and democracy and especially the cultural and intellectual elites.
The well-known poet Shefik Shkodra was grateful to the newspaper Nacional, its leader M. Buçpapaj and the entire Buçpapaj family for its contribution to freedom, democracy and national unity. He said that Kosovo and the ethnic lands are grateful to this family for their unparalleled contributions in our history.
Poet Agim Desku appreciated the stable national policies of the newspaper Nacional, being the only media that is produced in Tirana and distributed with sacrifices in the region, which differs from other press there for its academic, literary and national philosophical dimensions, he said. Sabri Maxhuni Novosela, a history researcher, said in his speech that the motto of the Nacional newspaper is independence, democracy and national unity in permanent friendship with the USA, and every reader and employee of this important, serious and elite media has confirmed this. For this reason, all Albanian intellectuals have joined this newspaper regardless of their political beliefs. He said that he joins this newspaper in its ideas of national unity and the philosophy that it defends that there is no Kosovar nation and Albanian nation, but only one, the Albanian nation. He appealed that we need to get out of the concept of gabaur, especially in the media, of the Albanian people in Albania, in Kosovo, in Macedonia or Montenegro, but only in the concept of one nation, the Albanian nation. The editor-in-chief of the National newspaper for Kosovo, Gani Tërshnjaku, said that he was happy with the manifestation and that our sacrifices were appreciated by hundreds of participants, by the cultural elites in Pristina and all over Kosovo.
