MANILA, FILIPINE — Autorja, poetja dhe artistja vizuale filipinase me bazë në Antipolo City, Elizabeth Esguerra Castillo, është emëruar Presidente e NAC (Komiteti Kombëtar i Çmimeve, Filipine) për World Noble Laureate Awards 2026, në kuadër të World Award Committee, në shenjë vlerësimi për udhëheqjen dhe përkushtimin e saj në promovimin e shkrimtarëve dhe artistëve filipinas në skenën ndërkombëtare.
Ky emërim e vendos Castillo në krye të Komitetit Kombëtar të Çmimeve të Filipineve, i cili ka për detyrë të përfaqësojë dhe të vlerësojë talentet e shquara filipinase në Letërsi dhe Arte Pamore, në kuadër të prestigjiozeve World Noble Laureate Awards 2026.
World Noble Laureate Awards synon të nderojë individë, arritjet krijuese dhe kontributet e të cilëve kanë lënë një gjurmë domethënëse në fushat e tyre përkatëse. Përmes Komitetit Kombëtar të Çmimeve të Filipineve, shkrimtarëve dhe artistëve filipinas u jepet mundësia të fitojnë njohje ndërkombëtare për veprën, përkushtimin dhe kontributin e tyre në kulturë dhe art.
Si Presidente e NAC Philippines, Castillo do të drejtojë komitetin në identifikimin dhe mbështetjen e krijuesve të merituar filipinas në letërsi dhe arte pamore, arritjet e të cilëve pasqyrojnë përsosmërinë, krijimtarinë dhe kontributin kulturor.
Castillo është një autore, poete dhe artiste vizuale filipinase me njohje ndërkombëtare. Veprat e saj letrare kanë arritur te lexuesit përtej kufijve të vendit të saj; poezitë dhe shkrimet e saj janë botuar në antologji ndërkombëtare dhe janë përkthyer në disa gjuhë. Ajo njihet gjithashtu për krijimtarinë e saj në artet pamore, veçanërisht në ekspresionizmin abstrakt dhe surrealizmin, dhe ka marrë pjesë në ekspozita ndërkombëtare, duke fituar vlerësime për arritjet e saj artistike.
Ky emërim dëshmon më tej përkushtimin e saj të vazhdueshëm ndaj zhvillimit të letërsisë dhe arteve pamore filipinase, si dhe ndaj krijimit të platformave ku krijuesit filipinas mund të lidhen me komunitetin ndërkombëtar artistik dhe letrar.

Së bashku, komiteti do të përfaqësojë Filipinet në fushat e Letërsisë dhe Arteve Pamore në World Noble Laureate Awards 2026.

Elizabeth Esguerra Castillo, D.Litt. (HC), është një autore, poete dhe artiste vizuale filipinase, e vlerësuar me çmime të shumta ndërkombëtare. Ajo është autore e Seasons of Emotions dhe Inner Reflections of the Muse, bashkautore e Verses of Meraki, si dhe kontribuuese në shumë antologji letrare ndërkombëtare. Veprat e saj janë përkthyer në disa gjuhë.
Si artiste vizuale, ajo eksploron ekspresionizmin abstrakt dhe surrealizmin, duke e përdorur artin si një mënyrë shprehjeje krijuese dhe lidhjeje kulturore. Ajo është anëtare e ARTipolo Group, grupi kryesor artistik i Antipolos, si dhe e FIAG Fantapia International Art Group, me bazë në Korenë e Jugut. MANILA, PHILIPPINES — Antipolo City-based Filipino author, poet, and visual artist Elizabeth Esguerra Castillo has been appointed President of the NAC (National Award Committee, Philippines) for the World Noble Laureate Awards 2026, under the World Award Committee, in recognition of her leadership and commitment to promoting Filipino writers and artists on the international stage.
The appointment places Castillo at the helm of the Philippine National Award Committee responsible for representing and recognizing outstanding Filipino talents in Literature and Visual Arts for the prestigious World Noble Laureate Awards 2026.
The World Noble Laureate Awards seeks to honor individuals whose creative achievements and contributions have made a meaningful impact in their respective fields. Through the Philippine National Award Committee, Filipino writers and artists are given an opportunity to gain international recognition for their work, dedication, and contribution to culture and the arts.
As President of the NAC Philippines, Castillo will lead the committee in identifying and supporting deserving Filipino literary and visual arts practitioners whose accomplishments reflect excellence, creativity, and cultural contribution.
Castillo is an internationally recognized author, poet, and visual artist from the Philippines. Her literary works have reached audiences beyond the country, with her poetry and writings published in international anthologies and translated into several languages. She is also known for her work in visual arts, particularly in abstract expressionism and surrealism, and has participated in international exhibitions and received recognition for her artistic achievements.
Her appointment further reflects her continuing advocacy for the advancement of Filipino literature and visual arts and for creating platforms where Filipino creatives can connect with the international artistic and literary community.
Joining Castillo in the NAC Philippines are Caroline Nazareno-Gabis, Secretary; Dr. Sharon Ansay-Villaverde, EdD, Literary Specialist for Prose; Mildred de Joya Par, Literary Specialist for Poetry; and Marlene Ayen Galit, Visual Arts Specialist.
Together, the committee will represent the Philippines in Literature and Visual Arts for the World Noble Laureate Awards 2026.
For Castillo, the appointment is not only a professional distinction but also an opportunity to help bring greater visibility to Filipino creative excellence.

Elizabeth Esguerra Castillo D.Litt. (HC) is an internationally multi-awarded Filipino author, poet, and visual artist.
